What About Pain?

In this video, Caleb shares a Christian Counseling perspective on dealing with pain. Caleb looks at some aspects of pain, its presence, and its cycles,. He also discusses some possible methods of dealing with it, including physical, emotional, and relationship pain.

Caleb's noticed that sometimes we are not always aware of the emotional pain that comes up during counseling sessions. Nor do we know if this is a pain that is always running in the background, or just momentary to the topic being discussed.

Caleb also discusses elements of pain that we want to be aware of for healing, growth, and movement towards healing. He discusses how to become more aware of and move through it: pressing in to God and into His order for our lives. He briefly looks at the topics of pain in relationships, anxiety, and depression.
